Face-washing is task that pops onto your to-do list twice a day, in the morning and before bed, so it should feel like a treat, not a chore.

It’s easy to find a good-enough facial cleanser that removes dirt, grime, sunscreen, and other residual skin-care products. It’s harder, however, to come across one that does all of that without leaving skin feeling sensitive, stripped, and generally shrink-wrapped. And the trickiest thing of all?
